Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve compiled answers to the most common questions about our services, appointments, and foot care practices. If your question isn’t listed here, please don’t hesitate to contact us — we’re happy to provide additional information or clarification.

What is medical foot care?

Medical foot care focuses on keeping your feet healthy, comfortable, and free from problems that can affect mobility or daily comfort. It’s performed by a trained nurse who assesses the overall health of your feet, trims and files nails, treats corns and calluses, and provides education on prevention and at-home care. Unlike a spa pedicure, medical foot care prioritizes health and hygiene — especially important for clients with diabetes, circulation issues, or other medical conditions.

Do I need a doctors referral?

No referral is needed — you can book your appointment directly with us. However, if you’re receiving foot care as part of a medical treatment plan, we’re happy to work in collaboration with your doctor or healthcare provider to ensure continuity of care.

How often should I schedule a routine appointment?

Routine appointments should be scheduled on an on going basis, ideally every 4-6 weeks. Clients can pre-book appointments on a monthly basis or can be booked if and when they are needed.

Is foot care safe for people with diabetes, circulation problems, or fragile skin?

Yes — professional foot care is not only safe but highly beneficial for individuals with diabetes, circulation concerns, or delicate skin. Our treatments are performed by a trained nurse who uses gentle techniques and sterile instruments to protect your health and comfort. Each appointment is adapted to your unique needs to ensure safe, effective care that supports long-term foot health.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a small fee, as preparation and sterilization are completed in advance.

How do I book or reschedule my appointment?

Booking is easy! You can schedule your appointment online through our “Book Now” button, or contact us directly by phone or email. If you need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible.

What are your rates, and do you accept insurance or benefits coverage?

Our current rates are $65 for an initial assessment and $60 for routine appointments. Please note, prices will be increasing in 2026.

We do not offer direct billing, but we will provide a detailed receipt that you can submit to your benefits provider for reimbursement. We recommend checking with your provider prior to your appointment to confirm your coverage for nursing foot care services.

How do you ensure cleanliness and safety?

Your safety is always my priority. All tools are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized between each client, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) — including gloves, masks, and gowns — is worn during every appointment. Treatment areas are fully disinfected before and after each visit to maintain a safe, hygienic environment.
